Acknowledgment: As a white woman, I strive to honor yoga’s roots with respect and integrity. My goal in every class is to approach the practice from a place of cultural appreciation, not appropriation. Yoga is an ancient tradition with deep spiritual and cultural significance, and I am committed to continued learning—studying its history, philosophy, and origins beyond the Westernized lens. I aim to create an inclusive space that respects the lineage of yoga while making it accessible to all.
Namaste!
I began consistently practicing yoga in 2022 when a college professor introduced sun salutations in movement class. As a lifelong performer and dancer, I was instantly hooked. I started practicing at CorePower in Fort Worth, drawn not just to the physicality but to the sense of community. I had tried everything—spin, running, HIIT, swimming, lifting—but yoga offered something deeper: a connection between movement, breath, and mind.
Teaching has always been second nature to me. Both my parents are educators, and I grew up leading performing arts camps, coaching improv, and stepping into leadership roles as a musical theatre performer. Guiding others—helping them find confidence, ease, and joy in movement—feels like home.
As my practice deepened, so did my desire to teach. I returned to California to complete my 200-hour RYT certification, then moved to NYC, where I started teaching just two weeks after arriving. Now, I’m passionate about creating classes that challenge, empower, and inspire—blending strength, grace, and playfulness. I’m also pursuing my 300-hour certification to expand my knowledge.
Some of my yoga interests include, mindfulness, meditation, advanced asana, breath-work, Buddhism and yoga philosophy.
I'm currently creating more video content, offering Zoom classes, and providing one-on-one private coaching—both in NYC and virtually. I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford high-end studios. Yoga is for all bodies, all levels, all incomes. It should never be gatekept. I am committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, period.
Yoga Teaching
Philosophy
-
Authenticity
I teach from a place of honesty, embracing the real, messy, and evolving nature of both yoga and life. My classes are a reflection of my own journey—rooted in passion, playfulness, and a deep respect for the practice. I encourage students to show up as they are, without judgment or expectation. There is no "perfect" way to practice yoga—only your way. I believe in creating a safe space where every student can feel supported, free to explore, and embrace their inner child, whether you're 5 or 85. I invite my students to approach the practice with a sense of curiosity, creativity, and joy. Vulnerability is welcomed here, and every person is encouraged to honor their own pace, free from judgment. Through authenticity, we build a deeper connection to ourselves, the practice, and each other, letting go of outside pressures and embracing the beauty of the present moment.
-
Inclusivity
Yoga is for everyone—it's not exclusive to those who can afford expensive studios or fit a specific mold. My goal is to create a space where all bodies, backgrounds, and experience levels feel seen, valued, and supported. Yoga should be accessible and welcoming, not gatekept. It belongs to the people, and I’m committed to honoring its roots while ensuring the practice is available to all, regardless of where they’re starting from. I believe that everyone deserves to experience the benefits of yoga, and I work to dismantle barriers—whether physical, financial, or societal—that might prevent people from stepping onto the mat. This practice is for anyone who seeks it, and it’s my mission to make sure every student feels empowered and welcome, no matter who they are or where they come from.

Empowerment
My classes are designed to help students tap into their own strength, both physically and mentally. I don’t simply demonstrate the flow for you to watch and copy; instead, I focus on verbal cues and hands-on assists to guide you in creating shapes in your own body. This approach encourages a deep connection between mind and body—helping you build awareness, confidence, and control. I believe that when you create a pose from the inside out, using your breath and awareness, you unlock a deeper connection between your mind and body. My goal is for you to feel empowered in every movement, finding strength in the process, not just the end result. Whether you're mastering a pose, discovering new possibilities, or simply embracing your inner power, empowerment is at the core of the practice.
My Sankalpa
Community is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I believe yoga connects us not only to ourselves but also to each other. My goal is to create a space where everyone feels supported, seen, and valued, regardless of background or experience. While yoga is a personal journey, it’s also it also flourishes through shared connection. By fostering belonging and collaboration, I aim to build a community where each person feels empowered, inspired, and part of something greater. In my classes, we lift each other up, creating a space for growth, healing, and transformation. I am actively building a community, both online and in person, that fosters genuine connection, mentorship, and shared experiences. As my business and community grow, I look forward to teaching in person and virtually, creating content, planning events, hosting yoga retreats and furthering my yoga practice!
